Terms of Use.
Welcome to Project Shift ("we", "us", "our", or the "Platform"). By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or any associated services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). Please read them carefully — they form the entire agreement between you and Project Shift.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and are applicable exclusively to users within India.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, purchasing a course, or simply browsing the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the Platform. Continued use after any update to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised version.

Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under applicable Indian law.
Not have had your account previously suspended or terminated by Project Shift for a violation of these Terms.
If you are registering on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Access and complete courses, quizzes, and assessments for personal skill development.
Download and save course materials expressly designated as downloadable, for offline personal use only.
Share your Project Shift certificate or learning achievements on professional platforms (e.g. LinkedIn) with appropriate attribution.
Prohibited Conduct
The following actions are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination, legal action, or both:
Sharing or reselling access. Sharing your login credentials, sublicensing, or selling access to course content to any third party.
Reproducing content. Copying, screenshotting, recording, downloading (unless expressly permitted), or distributing any course videos, materials, or platform content in any form.
Creating derivative works. Adapting, translating, reverse-engineering, or creating derivative works from any content on the Platform.
Fraudulent activity. Using false identities, creating multiple accounts to exploit free trials, or attempting to circumvent payment systems.
Platform interference. Using bots, scrapers, automated tools, or any means to access, probe, or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure, systems, or databases.
Harassment or harmful content. Posting, uploading, or transmitting any content that is defamatory, obscene, threatening, or that violates applicable Indian law, including the IT Act, 2000.
Commercial use without consent. Using the Platform or its content for any commercial purpose, including training other AI systems, without prior written permission from Project Shift.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including but not limited to course videos, lesson text, quizzes, assessments, graphics, UI design, logos, and the Project Shift name — is the exclusive intellectual property of Qrit Tech / Project Shift or its licensors, and is protected under applicable Indian copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you. Your licence to use the Platform is limited to the rights expressly stated here. Any unauthorised use constitutes an infringement and may result in civil and criminal liability under the Copyright Act, 1957.
If you believe any content on the Platform infringes your intellectual property rights, please notify us at projectshift.app@gmail.com with full details of the alleged infringement.
User-Generated Content
If the Platform allows you to submit comments, forum posts, reviews, or other content ("User Content"), you retain ownership of what you create. However, by submitting User Content, you grant Project Shift a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.
You represent and warrant that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights, applicable laws, or these Terms. Project Shift reserves the right to remove any User Content at its sole discretion, without notice, if it is deemed inappropriate, offensive, or in violation of these Terms.
Certificates
Upon successful completion of a course, you may receive a digital completion certificate from Project Shift. Please note the following:
Certificates are issued solely as a record of course completion on the Project Shift platform. They do not constitute any formal academic qualification, professional licence, or government-recognised credential.
Certificates are issued in your name and are non-transferable. Sharing or falsely claiming another person's certificate is a violation of these Terms.
Project Shift reserves the right to revoke a certificate if it determines that it was obtained through dishonest means, including quiz fraud or account sharing.
Certificates will not be issued or re-issued after account deletion. We recommend downloading and saving your certificates before requesting account deletion.
Disclaimers
The Platform and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, Project Shift disclaims all warranties, including:
No Outcome Guarantee
We do not guarantee any specific career outcome, employment, salary increase, or professional result from completing our courses.
Content Accuracy
While we strive for accuracy, AI tools and related content evolve rapidly. Course content may not always reflect the latest developments.
Service Availability
We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free availability of the Platform. Maintenance, outages, or technical issues may occur.
Third-Party Tools
Courses may reference or demonstrate third-party AI tools. We are not responsible for those tools' availability, accuracy, or terms.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Project Shift, its directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:
Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.
Loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities resulting from your use of the Platform.
Damages arising from unauthorised access to your account due to your failure to maintain password security.
In all cases, Project Shift's total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Project Shift in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Project Shift and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.
Your User Content infringing any third party's intellectual property or other rights.
Any misuse of your account or the Platform, whether by you or any third party using your credentials.
Termination
By You
You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time by sending a written request to projectshift.app@gmail.com. Deletion is subject to the procedures described in our Privacy Policy. Cancelling your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription — you must cancel the subscription separately before your next billing date.
By Project Shift
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without notice, if we determine that you have:
Violated any provision of these Terms or our Privacy Policy.
Engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity on or through the Platform.
Caused harm or risk to other users, to Project Shift, or to the Platform's infrastructure.
Upon termination, your licence to use the Platform immediately ceases. Access to purchased courses and certificates will be lost. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 8, 12, and 13) will continue to apply.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Jurisdiction: Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gurugram, Haryana, India. You consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts and waive any objection to venue.
Informal Resolution: Before initiating any formal proceedings, we encourage you to first contact us at projectshift.app@gmail.com so we can attempt to resolve the matter amicably. We will respond within 15 business days.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or interim relief from a competent court where necessary to prevent irreparable harm.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make material changes, we will:
Post the updated Terms on the Platform with a new effective date.
Send an email notification to your registered email address at least 7 days before the changes take effect (for material changes to paid features).
Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform and may request account deletion.
